Display Settings Changes display settings and applies sorting options through Settings for Display dialog that controls details of how the components list is displayed. You can select the standard display or an individualized structure, and set your own filters
Reload Reloads all documents from the drawing and updates revision information from the model. Begins a search for the selected drawing or to analyze it. This is required when you activate a different drawing in the MDI environment or if you have modified the current drawing (e.g. issue of new documents).
Document revision data Displays the Revision data for the selected cell. The details such as who created the details, when it was created, and where it is stored for the selected cell displays in the top pane. You can choose between a simple list display with the creation dates or a combined display which allows a rough preview of drawing documents. The size of this preview graphic is automatically modified if the height of the above list is changed.
Existing documents Existing documents pane displays a list of drawing cells. Drawing cells (documents) in the Existing documents list are color-coded for your information:
  • Blue – the cell has been created but not yet inserted.
  • Green – the cell has been inserted on a drawing.
  • Red – the previously inserted cell has been modified on the model; check the Conflicts tab to view details.
Right-click options

Right click on an object for additional options:

  • Open document
  • Create new version
  • Update document
  • Update document (with new revision
  • Verify document
  • Protect version
  • Change file path
Selecting the Update document (with new revision), provides options:
  • records the revision
  • allows you to enter a revision comment
  • assigns a revision number
Tip: After making a change to the model and recording it in the Revision Center, right click on a view or object in the main Detail Center, Parts tab, and select Update 2D Drawing.
