Beam Column Flange Connection – Stiffener tab
Used to set web
stiffeners.
For distance and offsets, a positive value determines the offset. A
negative value is not permitted.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Stiffener - Left, Right, Top, Down | Stiffener selections: Enable setting either one or two pairs of standard web stiffeners. |
| Stiffener Type | Sets chamfer type from the drop-down list; Chamfered, Rounded, or Filleted. |
| Flange Distance | Sets the offset of the stiffener from flanges of the shape. The default is 0. |
| Web Offset | Sets the offset of the stiffener from web of the shape. The default is 0. |
| End Offset | Sets the offset of the stiffener from out edge of the shape. The default is 0. |
| Thickness | Sets the thickness of the stiffener. The default is 6 or 0.24 depending on the units setting. |
| Radius | Sets the round radius of corners of the stiffener. A positive value determines the radius. A negative value is to be read as its absolute value. A zero value is not permitted. The default is 5 or 0.2 depending on the units setting. |
