- Length – Sets
the length of the joint plate. The length will automatically match to the
support shape and holes pattern if two connecting shapes are selected. A
positive value determines the length . A negative value is to be read as its
absolute value. The default is 100 or 4 depending on the units setting.
- Thickness –
Sets the thickness of the joint plate. A positive value determines the
thickness. A negative value is to be read as its absolute value. The default is
10 or 0.4 depending on the units setting.
- Gap – Sets the
distance between connect shape and the support shape. A positive value
determines the gap. A negative value is to be read as its absolute value. The
default is 0.
- Clearance –
Sets the clearance between the plate and the slot cut on the support shape. A
positive value determines the clearance . A negative value is to be read as its
absolute value. The default is 5 or 0.2 depending on the units setting.
- Vertical
Offse – Sets the vertical offset of the plate.

Group – When checked, the selected shape, plate and other created
objects are arranged to form a group. If the selected shape is already part of
an existing group then the created objects are added to that group.
- With
Bolts – Enabled for
Group. When checked, the bolts are added to
that group.
- Plate
Position
– When checked, flips the plate between left and
right side of the web of the connect shape.
