To place excavation

  1. Either:

    On the Home ribbon tab, select the Place Excavation tool in the Substructure group

    or

    key in BMGEOM EXCAVATION EXCAVATIONVOLUME

  2. In the Place Excavation tool settings dialog, select the Terrain Model to use.
