To Install MicroStation

Note: To discontinue installing the product at any time, click Cancel.

In an Explorer window, double-click the MicroStation setup executable.

Note: The MicroStation Installation Wizard opens and checks if the required Windows KBs are installed on your machine. If not, you will get an error message with a link to know more about Windows KBs and download them. MicroStation can be installed only after you install the required Windows KBs.
Select Default Installation to continue.

The End User Lisence Agreement (EULA) page opens.
To read the End-User Licensing Agreement (EULA), click the End User License Agreement link.
- The End-User Licensing Agreement opens in a web browser.
- After reading the license agreement, turn on the I accept the End User Licensing Terms check box if you understand and agree to the License Agreement Terms and Conditions.
Note: Agreeing to the license agreement is required to install the product. Turning on the check box displays the Back and Install buttons at the bottom of the wizard.
Click Install.
Optional: To specify installation paths, features and companion applications: Click Advanced Installation on the Select your installation preference page.
Optional: Select a preferred product language in the Select a product language drop-down menu.
Optional: Choose companion features to install by selecting the corresponding checkboxes.
Optional: Download andinstall LumenRT as a companion application using the link provided.
Click Next.
The Product features page opens, where you can view the features. In the Product features list, turn on or off the features, as desired.
Click Next.
The Configuration page opens.
To change the path of the Delivered Configuration, click the Browse button next to the Delivered Configuration field.
In the Browse For Folder dialog that opens, browse the drive and folder where you want to deliver the default Configuration, then click OK. The location of the Delivered Configuration should be from the local machine.
Optional: To set up a custom Configuration, click the Browse button next to the Create a custom Configuration field.
In the Browse for Folder dialog, browse to the drive and folder where your Custom Configuration is located, then click OK.

You can select a network location for Custom Configuration.
Note: For information on Custom Configuration, refer to the topic Configuration Changes.
Click Next. Follow steps 3 and 4 to install.
While installation, you can browse through the Bentley Communities, access Product Documentation, and watch tutorials on the YouTube channel through the links provided.
Click Finish.

Note: If you uninstall this product through Add/Remove Programs, any files that you created subsequent to the installation of the product will not be deleted. It is recommended that you use Windows Explorer to locate and delete these files, if you so desire.
