To Install the Application Using the Deployment Image

Open the UNC path where the deployment image is stored.

In the deployment image folder, double-click the Setup_MicroStationx64_xx.xx.xx.xxx.exe file.

Depending on the setting, the installation setup wizard opens and the installation starts either in full user interface mode and opens the MicroStation Setup dialog or in reduced installation mode and opens the MicroStation Setup wizard.

(Optional) For Full UI Mode, follow the steps given in the To Install MicroStation topic for settings in the MicroStation Installation wizard.

Click Finish.

Note: In proxy-enabled environments, the installer may not correctly pass proxy credentials to dependent components during Installation or layout creation. As a result, required components might not be downloaded, which can cause layout creation or installation to fail.

Create and install the CONNECTION Client layout separately before installing MicroStation. This limitation is under investigation and is planned to be addressed in a future release.
