To Retrieve Indexed and Non-Indexed Data on a Network

  1. Create a configuration variable, say MY_PROJECT and point it to the following directories: C:\Projectdata, N:\Projectdata123, and Z:\Projectdata456.
  2. Create a link set and add the following configuration variable link to it: Sheets {Model:Sheet} $(MY_PROJECT)

    A Sheets node is added to the Explorer.

  3. In the Explorer, expand the node Sheets.

    When you expand the node Sheets, the Explorer resolves all the sheet models in the three locations. The drives for which indexing service is running, information is received from the service and the drives for which the indexing service is not running, harvesting technique is used.
