Export Visible Edges Dialog

Used to perform hidden edge removal, either to export a view's visible edges to a visible edges DGN file (recommended in most cases) or to the active DGN file.

You can access this dialog from the following:

Ribbon: File > Export > Common File Types > Visible Edges (*.hln)

Key-in: MDL LOAD EDGES

Key-in: EDGES DIALOG

Key-in: EDGES PROCESS <file_name> [SWITCHES]

Key-in: EDGES BATCH <input_command_file>

Setting	Description
General tab	The General tab contains controls that are used to set the view and whether to draw rule lines, intersections, or hidden edges.
Symbology tab	The Symbology tab contains controls to specify the symbology for both the visible edges and the hidden edges.
Preview	Starts the hidden edge removal process with output directed to the view specified in the View control.
