Raster Warp

Used to adjust the size and shape of a raster image with a combination of move, scale, rotate, and skew options.

You can access this tool from the following:

  • Ribbon: Drawing > Attach > Raster > More split button
  • Toolbox: Raster Control
Note: This tool is no longer blocked when more than one raster is selected.

SettingDescription
Method Defines how the raster image is to be adjusted. For each option, the adjustment is made by defining points on the image, followed by monument points in the design file. The number of points required varies with the option used.
  • Align (Move, Scale) — Two points (only) are required and scaling is uniform along the x- and y-axes.
  • Helmert — Two points (only) are required.
  • Similitude (Move, Scale, Rotate) — Requires a minimum of two points. Where more than two points are entered, a best fit is produced from the points. If more than two points are entered, then the source and destination points may not line up.
  • Affine (Move, Scale, Rotate, Skew) — Requires a minimum of three points and then produces a best fit. If more than three points are entered, the source and destination points may not line up.
