To Set a Tab Stop

In the Text Editor window, right-click on the Tab ruler and choose Indentation & Tab Settings. The Edit Indentation & Tab Settings dialog opens.
In the Custom Tab Stops text field, enter the tab stop value and click Add.

You can also set a tab stop by clicking on the Tab Ruler in the Text Editor window. You can have multiple tab stops.
