To Update the Placeholder Fields of a Detail Callout in a 2D Sheet Model

In a 2D sheet model containing an element, select the Place Detail Callout tool.
Turn on the Create Drawing check box.
Select a region in the sheet.
A detail callout and a detail view is created.
In the Create Drawing dialog, turn off the Create Drawing Model and Create Sheet Model check boxes and click OK.
Right-click the detail callout and select Place Drawing from the pop-up menu.
The Reference Attachment Properties dialog opens.
Select New from the Drawing Boundaries drop-down list and click OK.
Enter a data point to place the reference.
A drawing boundary is created under the reference. The fields of the drawing boundary and detail callout are updated immediately.
Right-click the drawing boundary and select Properties from the pop-up menu.
The Properties dialog opens.
On the General tab, change the Identifier field value.
The Drawing Identifier field value changes.
Click the Update All Fields tool (Drawing > Annotate > Text > More split button).
The Drawing Identifier field in the detail callout updates.
