| Review Linkages by Fence, Selection Set or Individual Element |
Review database linkages on an individual element. Linkage information displays in the dialog where it can be manipulated. If MS_LINKTYPE is set, the review command respects only the linkages identified with this configuration variable. This command also reviews elements in a fence or a selection set if a fence or selection set is active.

| Review Elements by File |
Review all the database linkages for a given design file. This command is limited to 10,000 linkages by default but can be configured using DBUTIL_MAX_RECORD. MS_LINKTYPE can also be used to limit the Database Linkage Types to be reviewed.

| Locate Element |
Locate one or more elements containing the selected linkages. The view to locate the elements can be set from Locate View menu, or with a pop-up menu using the right mouse button. The selected elements are highlighted and a box is drawn around them.

| Delete Linkage from Element |
Remove the select linkages. Single or multiple linkages can be deleted depending on the rows selected in the dialog. DBCHECK REMOVE removes the Database ID, Entity and MSLINK.DBCHECK REMOVE can be used to remove all linkages of a specific type, type and entity or type, entity and MSLINK.

MicroStation PowerDraft writes a Type 66 element for all ODBC & OLE Cdatabase connections. This Type 66 element allows MicroStation PowerDraft to reconnect to a specific database simply by opening a design file when MicroStation PowerDraft is started with the –wd<dbtype> command line parameter. Although this can be a great time-saving technique, it can also connect you to the incorrect database if you are not aware that the Type 66 element is being used. This command allows you to verify the information stored in the ODBC & OLE Type 66 element.

| Generate Report |
Takes the information from the current dialog view and exports it to a text file. The user is given a file dialog to enter the location and filename of the files to store the text. The default filename is dbcheck.txt.
