To Apply a Perimeter Constraint

Select the Perimeter Constraint tool.
Select a closed element.
Enter a data point to apply the constraint.
(Optional) To change the value of the constrained perimeter, key in the desired value in the perimeter box and enter a data point to accept the constraint.
