To Construct a Minimum Distance Line

  1. Select the Construct Minimum Distance Line tool (Drawing > Home > Placement > Place Multi-line split button).

  2. Enter a data point to select the first element.
  3. Enter a data point to select the second element.
  4. Enter a data point to accept the line.
