To Print Interactive 3D Design File Geometry to a PDF File

You must either open a 3D DGN file or a 2D sheet model that contains 3D references and set the Plot As 3D (PDF) control on the References dialog for the 3D references. You must also set the printer driver configuration file to pdf.pltcfg.

  1. Do one of the following:

    Select File > Print > Print. Set the Print to 3D check box.

    or

    Select File > Print > Print Organizer. Open an existing print set or add files to Print Organizer. Double-click a print definition and set the Print to 3D check box on the Main tab.

  2. (Optional) In the Print dialog, open the 3D Plotting Options dialog (Settings > 3D Plotting) and adjust settings as required.
