To Construct a Line String Defined by Equations and Another Curve

  1. In the Curve by Formula dialog ( Drawing > Home > Placement > Create Curves split button), load a curve definition.

  2. Set Mode to Derived.
  3. From the Create As option menu, choose Line String.
  4. Select the existing curve.
  5. Accept the line string.
