To Delete a Vertex or an Extension Line

Select the Delete Vertex tool (Drawing > Home > Modify > More split button).
Select the vertex or extension line.
Enter a data point to accept the deletion.
Note: If AccuSnap is on, the selection and acceptance of deletion takes place in just one data point.
