Select the Import/Export tool
(Drawing > Content > Item
Types > Import/Export)
The
Item Type Import/Export
dialog opens.
Select the
Instance icon.
Select
Export.
Pick the selection type in the drop-down menu next to
Selection Type field.
Select the browse button next to the
Export To field.
The
Browse for folder dialog opens. Here
you can browse to an existing location or create a new folder to export item
type instances.
Click
Ok.
The
Browse for folder dialog closes.
In the
Item Type Import/Export
dialog, click
Export.
The item type instances get exported to an
excel file and the message "Item Type Instance exported successfully" is
displayed in the message center.
