WMTS Has No Pixel Size
The WMTS is different from the other raster file types, because it has no defined pixel size. The impacts are the following:
- The Actual Resolution (1:1) tool cannot be used on XMWS attachments.
- Printing may output results different than what displays on screen. This is caused by the fact that the printing resolution is higher than the on-screen display resolution.
- It is impossible to save XWMS files to another format. The "Save As" operation is disabled for this format.
- The Batch Convert tool
cannot be used on XMWS attachments.
If a XWMS is selected for a Batch Convert operation, it will not be converted and an invalid file format error message displays.
- The "Geometry" section of the Raster Attachment Options dialog displays the same information as for reprojected rasters.
