To Pattern a Fenced Area

  1. With a fence present, select the Pattern Area tool ( Drawing > Annotate > Patterns ).

  2. Click the Fence icon in the tool settings.

  3. Choose the cell or pattern to use.
  4. Enter a data point to place the origin of the cell instances or pattern.
