To Modify the Settings for a Pattern Applied to an Area

  1. Select the Pattern Area tool ( Drawing > Annotate > Patterns ).

  2. Click the Element icon in the tool settings.

  3. Modify the tool settings as necessary.
  4. Select the area with an existing pattern that you want to modify.
  5. Enter a data point.

    The pattern is modified.
