To Use Variables from Item Types

The item type properties should be already defined and saved in Item Types dialog.

Open the Variables dialog ( Drawing > Constraints > Dimensional ).
Select the item type from the available Item Type Library populated in theItem Type drop-down menu.
The selected item type is added as a variable set above the local variables with all the Number type property definitions as individual variables, in the Variables tree.
