To Edit a Tag Definition

From the Tags toolbox, select Tag Sets.
The Tag Sets dialog opens.
- Select the set in the Sets list box.
- Select the tag in the Tags list box.

Click Edit.
The Define Tag dialog opens.
- (Optional) To change the tag's name, key in the new name in the Tag Name field.
- (Optional) To customize the prompt for the tag value that appears in the Attach Tags dialog when the tag is being attached, key in the desired prompt text in the Prompt field.
- (Optional) To change the tag's data type, choose the new type (Character, Integer, or Real) from the Type option menu. Do not change a tag's data type after having attached any instances of the tag.
- (Optional) To define or change the default value for the tag, key in the value in the Default Tag Value field.
- (Optional) To cause the use of the default value upon attachment of the tag, turn on Default.
- (Optional) To cause the Attach Tags dialog to open for confirming the default tag value upon attachment of the tag, turn on Confirm.
- (Optional) To prevent the tag value from displaying with each element to which the tag is attached, turn off Display Tag.
- Click OK.
