Extend Surface
(3D only) Used to extend a surface along one of its edge segments or the outer boundary.
You can access this tool from the following:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Distance | Sets the distance of the extension. |
| Closed Boundary | If on the inner and/or outer boundaries of a surface can be selected to extend. Ctrl+Data can be used to select multiple boundaries of the same surface. If off, the segments of the outer boundary can be selected. Ctrl+Data can be used to select multiple segments of the same surface. |
| Rebuild Surface | If on removes cusp points on a surface by sampling a set of points from the surface and recreating it. |
| Make Copy | The original surface is retained. |
