To Make a Cut or Protrusion Along the Edge(s) of a Parametric Solid

Select the Sweep Edge tool ( Modeling > Solids > Features ).

The Sweep Edge Feature tool settings window opens.
Select a Mode.
Select the solid.
Select the edge.
Press<Ctrl> and enter data points to select more edges.
Select the profile element.
Enter a data point to accept the protrusion or reset to reject.
