You can search all text elements in a model for a given string. You can replace some or all instances of a given string with a replacement string, as well as append or prepend the replacement string while retaining the original string.

The find text function works in the active model and all of its references, while the replace function works only in the active model.

The Find/Replace Text functionality supports dimensions, tags, text, text nodes, notes and symbols. Selection sets are also supported.

When using the Find/Replace Text functionality with Enter Data Fields (EDFs), you can replace text within a single EDF. However, you cannot replace text in EDFs that spans multiple EDFs or text that is partially inside and outside an EDF. The Find function works in all EDFs.
