To Define a Cell Origin

  1. Select the Define Cell Origin tool (Drawing > Home > Placement > Cells split button ).

  2. Enter a data point to define the cell origin.

    A “+” displays at this point.

    The origin stays active and displays until the next time the Define Cell Origin tool is selected.
    Tip: It is often helpful to snap (either with AccuSnap or manually) to preview the data point to be entered.
  3. Do one of the following:

    Reset to accept the cell origin.

    or

    Return to step 2.
