To Set a Paragraph Indent

In the Text Editor window, select the paragraph you want to indent.
Right-click on the Tab ruler and choose Indentation & Tab Settings. The Edit Indentation & Tab Settings dialog opens.
Set the Paragraph Indentation by entering a value in the Hanging text field and click OK.

You can also set a paragraph indent by dragging Paragraph Indent marker on the Tab ruler to the position where you want the text to start.
