| WorkSet |
Lets you specify a WorkSet name that determines which MicroStation font and line style resource files to use for the print definition. This WorkSet corresponds to the same WorkSet (.cfg) used in MicroStation. A print set can be composed of source files using different project WorkSets (i.e. a print set consisting of Civil and Plant sheets). The print definitions for each discipline might need to specify a different WorkSet in order to print with the correct fonts and other resources.

| Color |
List box that lets you select the output format — Monochrome, Grayscale, or True Color. Available options depend on the capability of the selected printer. Leave the list box empty or in its neutral state to avoid changing the color option. |
| Print raster images |
Enables or disables the printing of all types of rasters, including Raster Manager attachments and imported DGN rasters. If this check box is off, the other Raster Color and Raster Quality fields are not enabled. Leave the check box in its neutral (gray) state to avoid changing the color option. |
| Print raster in grayscale |
Enables or disables the grayscale printing of raster files. Leave the check box in its neutral (gray) state to avoid changing the Print raster in grayscale option. |
| Print monochrome raster as-is |
Enables or disables the application of color rules to monochrome raster attachments. Color rules specify that when printing, the raster's foreground color is inverted if it is identical to the background color of the output media. The default is unchecked, indicating color rules should be applied. Leave the check box in its neutral (gray) state to avoid changing the Print monochrome raster as-is option. |
| Brightness |
Sets the brightness for the display of raster image files referenced to the model. No changes are made to the original raster file. Setting the brightness to a value greater than zero increases the brightness. Setting the brightness to a value less than zero decreases the brightness. Values from –100 to 100 inclusive may be keyed into the text field, or set via the spin box control.
Note: The -100 to 100 range for Brightness is a user interface concept only. Internally, the value is stored in the same 0-100 range as used by the corresponding record in the printer driver configuration file.

| Contrast |
Sets the contrast for the display of raster image files referenced to the model. No changes are made to the original raster file. Setting the contrast to a value greater than zero increases the contrast. Setting the contrast to a value less than zero decreases the contrast. Values from –100 to 100 inclusive may be keyed in to the text field, or set via the spin box control.
Note: The -100 to 100 range for Contrast is a user interface concept only. Internally, the value is stored in the same 0-100 range as used by the corresponding record in the printer driver configuration file.

| Raster quality factor |
Sets the percentage of the printer's resolution that is used when printing raster attachments. A value of 50 means that raster attachments are scaled to 300 DPI when printing to a 600 DPI printer. Lower quality settings print faster and generate smaller plot files. Higher quality settings print slower and create larger plot files. Values from 1 to 100 inclusive may be keyed in to the text field, or set via the spin box control. When you change the Quality factor field or spin box control you will see the DPI change in the Raster resolution (dpi) field below the Printer resolution (dpi) field.
Note: The quality factor is a user interface concept only. Internally, the value is stored as a pixels-per-inch resolution setting.

Lets you publish PDF documents that include business items.
- None — No business items are included in the PDF document.
- All — All of the business items are included in the PDF document.
- Filtered by property filter file — Enables you to include a subset of the business items in the PDF document.

(Enabled only when Filtered by Property Filter File is selected in the Include Properties control) Allows you to specify a Property Filter file. A Property Filter file enables you to include a subset of the business items in the published PDF document. Click the Browse icon to locate a Property Filter file. |
| Update from design file |
Updates the print definition with detailed information about the master models and views defined within the DGN file. This information, referred to as "design state," is stored inside the print definition when the print definition is created. The model units, view parameters, dimensions of the view, working units of the master model, lists of models, view groups, and saved views are all part of the design state. The initial values of these print parameters are obtained from the source design view when the print definition is created, but may be later changed via a print style or manually. The Update from design file control can be used to reset these values to match the current state of the DGN file.
Updating the print definition’s design state is similar to initially creating the print definition, and may change print definition properties such as paper size and scale in response to new view and model parameters.
