boreline

Last updated: June 30, 2022

When a 3D tentative point is entered in a particular view, a reference line perpendicular to the plane of that view is created. The boreline sets the coordinates of the plane in which it is defined for snapping in other views. Thus, in views where the boreline appears as a line, a data point snaps to a location on the boreline, ignoring the active depth.
