To Select a Near Snap Point (with AccuSnap)

Select Near Snap Point mode.
With AccuSnap enabled, move the pointer over the required element.
The element highlights, and AccuSnap displays the nearest tentative snap points.
Move the pointer, and tentative snap point, along the element to the required position.
Enter a data point to accept the tentative snap point.
