To Define a Reference Clipping Boundary by Using an Element

  1. To define the reference clipping boundary's position, place an element (or a cell) over the desired clip area.
  2. In the References dialog's list box, select the references that the clip boundary will affect.
  3. Click the Clip Reference icon.

    The Set Reference Clip Boundary tool settings window opens.

  4. From the Method option menu, choose Element.
  5. Turn on Use References Dialog List.
  6. Identify the element as the clipping element.
  7. Accept the element as the clipping element.
