To Reduce the Number of Poles in a B-spline Surface

Select the Rebuild Surface tool (
).
- From the Mode option menu, choose Rebuild with Num Poles.
- Enter the number of U Poles and V poles in respective fields.
- Select a B-spline surface.

Enter a data point to accept the reduction in the number of poles.
The number of control points reduced in both parametric U and V directions are displayed in the status field.
