The Set Reference Presentation tool on the References dialog provides many options for controlling the display of individual references:

For each attached reference, you can

• Apply a display style . The default is to inherit the display style of the master model or, in the case of a nested reference, the display style of the parent referenced model.
• Apply presentation attributes, which are analogous to view attributes.
