| Setting | Description |

| Method |
Defines how the mesh is split into smaller sections.
- By Max(imum) Faces — Lets you set the maximum number of facets per part of the split mesh element.
- By Min(imum) Parts — Lets you set the minimum number of parts in which to split the mesh element.
- By Connectivity — Lets you split a mesh element that has disconnected parts into multiple mesh elements, each connected.
