Trim Solid

Used to trim a solid to its intersection with another solid.

You can access this tool from the following:

Ribbon: Modeling > Solids > Modify Features > Trim Solid

Setting	Description
Original Target	Hide - Keeps the first solid (target element) hidden after the operation. Show - Keeps the target element visible after the operation. Copy and Hide - Creates an associative copy of the target element keeping it hidden.
Original Tool	Hide - Keeps the second solid (tool element) hidden after the operation. Show - Keeps the tool element visible after the operation. Copy and Hide - Creates an associative copy of the tool element keeping it hidden.
Merge Parametric Solids	If on, all the features applied to the individual participating solids are available in the resultant solid and can be found in its merged feature tree. If off, the features applied to each participating parametric solid are preserved as separate elements and the Original Target setting controls whether the elements are shown or hidden. Note: When Merge Parametric Solids is turned on, the Original Tool should be set to `Hide`. For more information on this setting please refer Using Merge Parametric Solids Option.
