Mirror Reference

Used to mirror a reference about a vertical or horizontal axis.

You can access this tool from the following:

  • Ribbon: Drawing > Attach > Reference > More split button
  • Toolbox: Reference

Also used to mirror references using a fence and to mirror references selected from the References dialog list.



SettingDescription
Method Sets the method by which the reference is mirrored.
  • About Horizontal Line — The references is mirrored about a horizontal axis.
  • About Vertical Line — The reference is mirrored about a vertical axis.
Move Boundary with Reference If on, any clipping boundary and/or clipping mask(s) are mirrored with the reference.

If off, only the reference is mirrored, with any clipping boundary and/or clipping mask(s) remaining as is.

Use Reference Dialog List

If on, the reference(s) selected in the References dialog is mirrored.

Use Fence If on, the fence contents are mirrored. The option menu sets the Fence (Selection) Mode.
