To Move or Copy an Element, Parallel to the Original, by a Graphically Defined Distance

Select the Move/Copy Parallel tool (
).
- Click the Element icon.
- (Optional) Turn on the Make Copy check box to copy the element.

Click the Measure Distance icon.

Define the required distance with two data points.
The Distance check box turns on and the distance appears in its text field.
- Select the element.
- Enter a data point to define the direction to move or copy the element.
