Post Render Settings

Post Render Tab

SettingDescription
Display Choose a display mode from Full Color, Monochrome and Analytic.
Path Tracer Denoiser settings Select a path tracer denoiser.
Bloom Adjust the bloom settings:
  • Radius - adjust bloom radius using the slider or by typing the value. Higher value will cause larger bloom effect.
  • Threshold - adjust bloom threshold using the slider or by typing the value. Lower value will cause brighter pixels.
Post Processing If on, enables post processing settings:
  • Color Filtering - choose a color to apply color filter
  • Color Perspective - choose a color to replace darker areas
  • Color Correction -
    • Brightness - adjust the slider or type in value to increase or decrease the overall brightness of the image.
    • Contrast - adjust the slider or type in value to increase or decrease the overall contrast of the image.
    • Hue - adjust the angle to shift the color tones.
    • Saturation - adjust the overall saturation of the image.
    • Density - adjust the overall density of colors in the image.
Image settings
  • Gamma - Used to adjust for differences in display hardware. A view gamma of 1.7 works well for most LCD displays. Printers often require a higher gamma value, usually between 2.0 and 3.0. A gamma of 2 to 2.3 works well for most interior renderings and you can use lower Gamma values for exterior scenes. Once you have set the best gamma value for your device, you should not have to change it again until your hardware changes. You can adjust the slider or type in a value.
  • Background Settings - (Enabled only if an environment was not used for the rendering).
  • Background Uses Scene brightness - enable to adjust image brightness, Gamma and Background.
  • Image Brightness - adjust using slider of typing in a value.
  • Gamma - adjust Gamma using slider or typing in a value.
  • Background - updates the active environments with the current background settings.
    • Blank - Background is blank.
    • Color - Background color is used.
    • Image - Background image is used.

NPR Effects Tab

Used to apply NPR effects to the rendered image:


SettingDescription
Apply NPR Styles on Rendered Image If on, applies NPR settings to the rendered image.
NPR Shader Styles drop-down menu Select a shading style to apply to the image.
Processing Shader Select a Shader style from the drop-down menu
Processing Outline Select an outline style from the drop-down menu. You can adjust the following settings:
  • Color - select a color for outline
  • Thickness - adjust the thickness of outline
  • Opacity - adjust the percentage of opacity for outline

Relighting Tab

Used to fine tune the lighting in your scene without re-rendering. You can instantly adjust the intensity and color of your different light sources in your scene in real time.


SettingDescription
Flash Light If on, you can adjust flashlight settings of the rendered image by using the slider or typing a value. You can also pick a color from the color picker drop-down menu.
  • Reset pop-up menu:
    • Select All - selects all fields
    • Update relighting - only available for source light
Solar If on, you can adjust sun light settings of the rendered image using the slider or typing a value. You can also select a color from the color picker drop-down menu.
Ambient If on, you can adjust the ambient light of the rendered image by using the slider or typing a value. You can also pick a color from the color picker drop-down menu.
