To Attach a Material as an Attribute to an Element in the Design

Select the Apply Material tool ( Visualization > Home > Materials > Apply ).
In the tool settings window, click the Attach icon.
From the Material drop down menu, choose the material.
Select the element by entering a data point on it.
Enter a data point outside the element to select the element.
The material definition is attached to the element as an attribute.
(Optional) Do one of the following:

To attach the same material to additional elements, repeat steps 4 and 5.

or
To attach a different material from the same material palette, return to step 3.
