To Browse Fonts

Select Text Styles (Drawing > Annotate > Text dialog launcher).
The Text Styles dialog opens with the active text style selected.
On the General tab, click the Value field of the Font attribute and select a font from the drop-down menu.
Sample text in the selected font displays below the list box.
(SHX only) If you chose an SHX font as your base font in the General tab, you can optionally specify an SHX Bigfont in the Advanced tab.
You should specify an SHX Bigfont only when your intended language cannot be represented by the base SHX font.

Note: For normal text, TrueType fonts are generally recommended. For symbols, TrueType or RSC fonts work best. SHX fonts are only recommended for maximum AutoCAD compatibility when TrueType fonts cannot be used.
