To Unroll a Developable Surface

Select the Unroll Developable Surface tool ( Modeling > Surfaces > Surface Utilities > Unroll Surface ).
Select the surface.
Select the face of the surface to unroll (use a tentative snap to select a rear face).
Enter a data point to define the location at which to place the unrolled surface.
Enter a data point to define the axis for the unrolled surface.
