Reloading the Cache

There are different ways in which you can reload the cache. If you want to reload a single reference, you can reload it from the Reference dialog, either by selecting the reference and clicking the reload icon or selecting Reload from the reset pop-up menu. You may also use the key-in REFERENCE VISIBLEEDGES CACHED SYNCHRONIZE <file_name>.

If you want to reload all the models within a file, reloading each reference separately can be time consuming. In such case, you can use the key-in REFERENCE VISIBLEEDGES ALLMODELS SYNCHRONIZECACHE.

If your project involves multiple files and you want to reload the cache in all the files, doing it manually or using the key-in in each file can be too time consuming. In such case, you can run a batch process to reload the cache in multiple files. The general steps to set up and run a batch process are:

Create the command file and enter the key-in.
In this case the key-in is REFERENCE VISIBLEEDGES ALLMODELS SYNCHRONIZECACHE.
Select the files to process.
Run the batch process on the selected files.
