To Reassociate an Extension Line to an Element

Turn on Association Lock.

Select the Modify Element tool (
).

Identify the extension line whose association with an element has been dropped.

Snap to the point on the element to which the extension line is to be associated.

Enter a data point to accept the association of the extension line to the snapped point on the element.
