To Attach a Model Reference with Recommended Settings Using the Attach Reference Dialog

Click the References icon (
dialog launcher
).
The References dialog opens.

In the References dialog, click the Attach Reference icon.

In the Attach Reference dialog, select the DGN file that contains the model to attach as a reference.

From the Attachment Method option menu, select Recommended.

Click OK.
