Template Properties for Terrain Models

The following is a list of properties that can be added to a template and applied to terrain models.

Calculated Features Display	Contours	If on, displays the contours of the terrain model.	.	.
	Triangles	If on, displays the triangles of the terrain model.	.	.
	Triangle Vertices	If on, allows an elevation label at each vertex in the terrain model.	.	.
	Flow Arrows	If on, allows configuration of arrows that indicate direction of flow across the terrain model.	.	.
	Low Points	If on, allows the labeling of symbols and elevations at low points in the terrain model.	.	.
	High Points	If on, allows the labeling of symbols and elevations at high points in the terrain model.	.	.
Calculated Feature Settings	Contours	Max Slope Option	Ignore Max Slope allows for the omission of contours that exceed the Max Slope Value.	.
	Contours	Max Slope Value	Slopes steeper than this value are not drawn. The Max Slope Value is entered in decimal slope. Decimal slope is the ratio of the change in elevation per unit length in master units.	.
		Smoothing Factor	Controls how much smoothing occurs. Ranges from 1 to 10 with 10 being the smoothest.	.
		Smoothing	Options are None, Spline, Spline Without Overlap Detection, and Vertex.	None does not smooth out contours. Contours may appear angular. Spline produces very smooth contours. Performance may be slower. Spline Without Overlap Detection skips detecting and correcting overlaps. In areas with sharp curvature in the contours, the contours may overlap. It is suggested to use this method over the Spline method for better performance time. Vertex uses a circular curved smoothing algorithm instead of splines.
		Major Interval	The elevation range at which a major contour is drawn.	.
		Minor Interval	The elevation range at which a minor contour is drawn.	.
		Major Contours	Display	If on, shows the major contours.
