To Delete One or More Facets

Select the Split Facet tool ( Modeling > Mesh > Mesh Utilities ).
Select a mesh element.
Use the various selection modes (Individual , Block , Shape , Line , Plus , Minus , Expand , Reduce , and Invert ) to select the facets.
Click the Delete Selected Facets icon.
Enter a data point.
The selected facets are deleted.
