Project Administrator's Common Use of Harvested Files

The common use of harvested file for a project administrator is:

Defining Section and Sheet "Views"

A project administrator wants to create a link set containing folders that show key resources in the project, including sheets and sections. The design files should be organized in directories by discipline, or by a file-naming scheme. The link set folders should be organized in the same way. To define the link set folders, the administrator first sets up a configuration variable to identify each discipline-specific subfolder of his project file directory structure. Then the administrator creates a Configuration Variable Link in the link set to reflect the resources in the files identified by each configuration variable. Each Configuration Variable Link identifies a configuration variable and specifies the type of resource to harvest from the files.
