To Attach an Item Type to an Element

Do one of the following:

In the Drawing workflow, on the Attach tab, in the Item Types group, select Attach Item.

(Optional) In the Attach Item dialog, select the item type from the Attach Item dialog.

(Optional) In the Attach Item tool settings window, change the values of the properties.

Do one of the following:

Select the element to which you want to attach the item.

or

If you have already selected an element from the Explorer dialog File tab then enter the data point.
