Locks are settings that let you control the actions of various tools.

Locks can be turned off or on by:

• Clicking the Active Locks icon in the status bar and selecting the required lock from the pop-up menu.

In either of the above menus, if you select:

• Full — the Locks dialog opens. In this dialog, you can turn locks on or off, and you can enter settings for locks that have settings.
• Toggles — the Locks toolbox opens, which lets you turn locks on or off.
